Sean D. Cowdrey, Esq.

Sean Cowdrey has handled elder abuse lawsuits throughout California for nearly 30 years. In an age when many lawyers have never watched a jury trial in a courtroom, Cowdrey has been trying cases since his first month as a lawyer. He successfully tried one of the earliest nursing home elder abuse cases in California in the mid-1990s. He has represented clients in lawsuits in every part of California and in the largest and most significant elder abuse trials.

Mr. Cowdrey tells it like it is, explains what the possible outcomes are and their probabilities, and helps his clients decide the best strategy to meet their goals—whether to settle or go to trial.

His reputation for excellent client advocacy, ethics, and results earned him the highest, AV-Preeminent rating from his peers and repeated “Super Lawyer” designations.

Mr. Cowdrey resides in Camarillo with his wife, Tina, and two of their three daughters. He enjoys various shooting sports, amateur radio, and is an instrument-rated pilot.
